The Story

On April 1, 2019, the small town of Mandan, North Dakota, was forever changed by a brutal crime at RJR Maintenance and Management. Inside the company’s office, four employees—Robert Fakler, Adam Fuehrer, Lois Cobb, and William Cobb—were found murdered in a violent attack that left the community reeling. The victims suffered a combination of stab wounds and gunshot injuries, and the crime scene showed clear signs of a chaotic struggle, suggesting that they had fought desperately for their lives.

Each of the victims had their own story. Robert Fakler was a co-owner of the company, known for his dedication and leadership. Adam Fuehrer was a hardworking employee who was known for his friendly demeanor and reliability. Lois and William Cobb, a married couple, worked together at RJR and were beloved for their kindness and strong work ethic. Their loss sent shockwaves through Mandan, leaving friends, family, and neighbors grappling with the sudden, senseless violence that claimed their lives.

The investigation that followed was intense and complex, as law enforcement worked tirelessly to unravel the mystery behind these murders. The case eventually led to the arrest of a local individual, pieced together through careful police work, witness statements, and surveillance footage. Yet, even with the arrest, questions about the motive and the true nature of the crime lingered, leaving the community searching for closure.
